Muttil: A beneficiaries' meet was organized as part of the initiative to sanction houses to all eligible beneficiaries in Muttil Grama Panchayat under the Life Mission 2020 housing scheme. Under this scheme, financial assistance for new house construction is being provided to a total of 300 people in the panchayat.

Mr. Ranjith C.P., President of Muttil Grama Panchayat, officially inaugurated the event. Smt. Leena C. Nair, the Grama Panchayat Vice President, presided over the function. Mr. Muhammed Shajid, Chairperson of the Development Standing Committee, delivered the keynote address..

Smt. Aishabi, Chairperson of the Welfare Standing Committee, delivered the welcome address. District Panchayat member Smt. Naseema Teacher, Block Panchayat member Smt. Usha E.M., Muttil Grama Panchayat Vice President Sri Jayarajan, Health and Education Standing Committee Chairperson Sri Nisheed Chazhivayal, and Panchayat members Sri Kuriakose and Sri Faisal N.B. offered felicitations at the event.

Subsequently, VEOs Mr. Vipin Shyam and Ms. Athira conducted a session for the beneficiaries, explaining the various criteria and procedures of the LIFE housing scheme. Grama Panchayat Secretary Mr. Rajesh M.B. delivered the vote of thanks. Members of the administrative committee and numerous beneficiaries participated in the gathering.
