This is a coordination committee formed with representatives from various departments to streamline traffic control, road safety, and traffic management within the Grama Panchayat area.

The Grama Panchayat President serves as its Chairperson, while an officer nominated by the District Police Chief acts as the Convener. It is a local-level committee functioning under the supervision of the District Traffic Regulatory Committee.

  • Recommend measures to enhance road safety.
  • Suggest solutions for traffic congestion, accident risks, and parking issues.
  • Ensure coordination among departments regarding road signs, traffic control systems, and safety measures.
  • Ensure a safe and smooth transportation system for the public and motorists.
  • Provide support for implementing the policies and directives of the District Traffic Regulatory Committee at the local level.
