Muttil: Muttil Grama Panchayat has officially launched 'Operation Thoofan 2.0', a mass anti-drug awareness campaign organized across Local Self-Government institutions. The panchayat-level inauguration and flag hosting ceremony were conducted by Grama Panchayat President Ranjith C. P. During his address, he emphasized the critical need for unified community action to eradicate substance abuse from society.

The inaugural meeting was presided over by Vice President Leena C. Nair. Nisheed Chazhivayal, Chairperson of the Health and Education Standing Committee, delivered the welcome address. Facilitation speeches were given by Muhammed Shajeed, Chairperson of the Development Standing Committee, and Ayshabi, Chairperson of the Welfare Standing Committee.

As part of the event, 'Thoofan Warrior' badges were distributed to ward members, followed by an official pledge against drug abuse. The panchayat plans to expand robust awareness drives and preventive programs across all wards in the coming days.
