Muttil Grama Panchayat organized a development seminar; the annual plan for 2026-27 was formulated.

Muttil: A comprehensive development seminar regarding the formulation of the Muttil Grama Panchayat's annual plan for the 2026-27 financial year was organized at the Muttil Grama Panchayat Community Hall. Grama Panchayat President Mr. Ranjith C.P. inaugurated the seminar. He stated that priority would be given in the new financial year to projects aimed at the holistic development of the Grama Panchayat through public participation.
At the function, Grama Panchayat Vice President Leena C. Nair delivered the welcome address. Subsequently, Mr. Muhammed Shajeed U.S., Chairperson of the Development Standing Committee, formally released the draft plan document—prepared in connection with the formulation of the annual plan—by handing it over to the Grama Panchayat President.
Planning Committee Vice-Chairman K. Jayarajan outlined the key development projects and priority areas proposed for implementation in the new financial year. The Chairperson of the Welfare Standing Committee and the Chairperson of the Health and Education Standing Committee, Mr. Nisheed Chazhivayal, also spoke at the event, conveying their best wishes.
Elected representatives, officials, and local residents participated in the seminar to discuss development needs across various sectors. Ms. Shraddha Madhu, Secretary of Muttil Grama Panchayat, delivered the vote of thanks.
